Saturday 12th July 2008- Ramgarhia Hockey Club Derby Annual Tournament held at Moorways Sports Centre, Derby. This was a special occasion marking 25 years since the club established back in the early 80's. Previous events has been a success and has seen some high standard of Hockey played as well as providing a friendly environment for the whole family.
This year was another successfully ran tournament which witnessed some very good teams from across England. Both our 1st and 2nd teams failed on the first hurdle as they didn't qualify past the group stages, 1st's losing to this years new entrant Ramgarhia HC Leeds.
Nicca from Nottingham, 2007 winners, lost in the final to GTB Nuneaton. It was an evenly balanced game which could have gone either way but GTB had reserves in the tank and went on to win the tournament beating Nicca from Nottingham 4-2.
We would like to thank all involved in making this occasion a special event.

Beeston 6's Summer League 2008 - we are pleased to announce that our 1st team won this years Beeston 6's Summer League. Competing against some of England's finest players it was Ramgarhia HC Derby finishing top of the table with a highlight of beating Beeston 1st's to clinch the title. We would like to thank all involved for their efforts in winning the league. Well done boys!

Summer League 2008 at Beeston Hockey Club, Beeston. We will be entering the summer league again this year, this event is for us to improve and learn and be ready for the winter league. It will be Hockey played at a high level of standard as players are looking to have fun and enjoy playing Hockey. To check our progression this season just click here.

East Midlands Division One Runners Up 2007- After a hard season and achieving success the season before, Ramgarhia HC Derby finished runners up meaning promotion for the second season running. It was not on the cards at the start of the campaign as the club had mixed emotions, but new signings and great attitude from existing players turned it around, to give more success to the club.
Rolls Royce Tournament Winners 2007- Ramgarhia HC Derby won the rolls royce tournament beating Chestnuts in the Final. It was RHC 3rd final in a row at the tournament, meaning a League promotion and cup win in the 2007 season.

Sunday 3rd June- Langer at Ramgarhia Sabha Sikh Temple, Derby. After a successful season, we would like to thank our sponsors and give something back to the community.
Sunday 15th July- Ramgarhia Derby Hockey Tournament at Moorways Sports Centre, Derby. Previous events have been a success and has seen some high standard of Hockey as well as providing a friendly environment for the whole family.
This was a successful Tournament which saw Ramgarhia 1st team lose out in the semi final stage, but came back from 2-0 against a superior team of mainly Indian International. Ramgarhia took them all the way and lost out on sudden death penalty flick shoot out.
Nicca Nottingham won the Tournament, who had too come back from a goal down and with 5 minutes left, Nicca got 2 goals and won the trophy. It is safe to say that we took it out of the Indian international in the semi finals.
Presentation Night 2007 - Friday 20th July at Indian Community Centre
Ramgarhia Annual Dinner and Dance, awards were given to individuals for there performances from the previous season. Topped off with food and drink, with players getting there groove on for most of the night to celebrate a successful season, well done boys!
